How to: Enable AutoFormatting in a document.
Solution:
Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options...', and select the check boxes that apply on the 'AutoFormat' tab page.
1) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options...'. (The Options dialog box appears.)
2) Click the 'AutoFormat' tab.
3) Select the check boxes that identify actions that Word should perform automatically.
NOTE: Word checks the typed input and automatically completes the formatting tasks selected.
4) Click 'OK'.
